Hello, steemit family.

I'm nashif, you can call me nashfx, i have been trading forex for 5 years now. it has been a wild ride with no mentor and lots of scum, blown accounts, sleepless nights, euphoric wins, and finally a calm methodical approach that keeps me going.
I'm here to share the real story of my trading not the fat big dreams, but the grit, the psychology and technical skills that actually works.
The fast year was total chaos, it all started in 2021 after my little bro watched a you tube video and we thought we would be rich in a month, funny enough with in one week we lost 300$, yes real account that's when i jumped onto a demo for more practice but with account balance of 10000$ and made profits since i had no stop loss i would find the trades i have opened in deep profits, as i continued to watch you tube videos.
i tried every indicators, Bollinger bands, oscillator, moving average but nothing worked perfect for consistency. by the end of the year , i was down over 4000$ with multiple accounts blown on exness and felt like trading was not for me. I was so greedy and wanted quick pay outs until i was humbled the hard way.

My 2rd to 4th year i stopped the greedy and chasing profits and started journaling every trade . I realized my risk management was bad, i used to trade news events with no idea, i had no strategy just random entrees so i simplified slowly. i chose only eurusd and usdjpy to focus on and gave in more screen time to see what happened and what would repeat. i started risking less aiming for 3RR
by the end of year 3, i was at breakeven i got some huge wins by year 4, i was 22 return but still small

year 5. i now trade swing positions that's 4h and daily charts the mental shift no more screaming at 1 mint candle . i only trade if my setup appears or else no trading.
all in all trading is 80% psychology and 20%strategy please wait for your set up no matter what,
no revenge trading, accept the lose and move on, take trading as a business and sleep well hihi
