Let me tell you about my steemit journey, and show you 20 of my best drawings
All 20 drawings is shown last in this post
In 2016 I was dealing with a depression I’ve had for 1,5 years. I had lost everything, my job, my appartment and I had absolutely no money, and with this I also lost most of my friends which I realise now wasn’t real friends. I did everything I could to make a few bucks to get food on the table and a roof over my head. But I felt like everything was working against me.
During the winter of 2016-2017 I started to get more spiritual in my thinking. I was researching about the meaning of life. I didn’t want to believe that we are all meant to work, pay our bills and die. There must be a reason why we live.
I came across some information on what happiness is and why money isn’t a part of it. In the same time I read about food and how healthy food makes you happier. I decided to become full vegan after seeing a documentary about meat and how meat is a big reason for many of our diseases including depression. Two weeks after I started eating a plant based diet my depression was gone. I felt like I had become a new person and had more energy than ever. I was sleeping 6 hours per day instead of 12 hours like I had been doing for several years.
"Nothing happens by chance, follow your passion and you can accomplish anything"
This was in march of 2017 and I had made some post on steemit that went rather good. So I decided that I wanted to give steemit a try for real. I started to post my art which have always been a passion of mine.
I didn’t care about how much money I made, I just wanted to share my art with others and do things I really love to do. That is what I have realised from my spiritual journey, nothing happens by chance and as long as you do something you love and follow your passions everything is going to be allright. And it did, I didn’t make alot of money but I’ve made enough to survive. Another thing I’ve learned is that money is nothing without time and I had all the time in the world without a regular job to go to.
I have tried many different strategies to grow my following on steemit. But I’ve realised that success doesn’t come over night. One thing that is important is consistency. If you don’t make posts no one can see you. The thing about art is that sometimes you just don’t feel like drawing or painting. At least I have to be in a certain mood to to pick up the pen and start drawing. But I have done a fear amount of posts, not as much as I wanted but more than I thought now when I’m looking at my drawings.
My 30th birthday and my vision for the future
Yesterday was my 30th birthday, I can't believe I'm in the 30s now! I sat in the cabin out in the woods that I rent, made some good food and was thinking what this year is going to give.
My vision for the future is to write more blog posts. I love writing and I want to share my experience in life. I have a plan to move to Spain, I don’t like the cold weather here in Sweden and when I have a permanent home in Spain I’m going to start traveling.
I want to see all corners of the world and I want to share it with as many as possible. I also want to help others who experience the same things that I did, being broke, depression and not knowing what they want to do in life. Many people are so tired of their jobs or the lack of one. Most of us want to fulfill our dreams and persuing our passions and with cryptocurrency it’s possible. One thing that I am going to invest in is mining. To have a passive income with bitcoin mining is very helpfull and I believe mining is a very good investment.
I want to thank all my followers for the support you give, it means alot to me!
Keep on steeming ;)
First off Happy Birthday. Your now 15 with 15 years experience. I also hit reset on life in my early 30’s when I found myself taking my grandmother to get dialysis treatments three times a week and I had to sit and wait 3 1/2 hours after driving 50 miles one way to take her to the treatments. Our use that time to find myself as an artist again. Life is about much more than money. Finding what you’re happy doing and doing it with passion is one of the most rewarding things you can do. I am now 44 years old and everything from that time let me Be who I am now. I wish you the very best keep up the good work and awesome drawings.
Thank you for your support :) You are absolutely right in everything you say!
