Hi, @outhori5ed Thank you for your post. I am facing the same kind of questions at the moment as I try with my wife to introduce the Thai community into Steemit. One of the questions coming out most of the time is where the money come from? After explaining to them Steem and Steem dollar some get it and other I have to start all over again and use more pictural ways to explain. It is a huge work to bring peoples inside especially they are not used to crypto currency. But we do it with pleasure because we do believe in the all project. Thank you.
thanks @ricko66 for doing what you do. You see, most of the problem is not theirs but ours. Everytime we use the rewards as the first thing to introduce people to steemit, they want to be sure it is not a ponzi scheme and that they will really make money. The approach we which we introduce steemit will really encourage willing participation, that is why we need to use the right approach. Many people spend many hours on other social media sites without pay, tell them to spend all or half as much as that time on steemit, socializing, then see what happens next.
you guys are doing a great job @ricko66, keep it up. soonest, many people will regret why they didnt join the community the first time they heard about it. just keep doing what you do and in no time you will translate an entire community. thanks alot
