I’m still on track for 20,000 in twenty years. I think after 10,000 I’ll be a master of my self. At 15,000, it will be like pouring milk on cereal. At 20,000 I’ll be eight days away from death.

Sounds as if you had really fun making those ..I mean kill biddag, does he have a hellhound? It looks more like a certain dance and those not to be animals might as well be those spots the shrink shows and wants you tell what they are. Most likely spilled tea, coffee or paint. Nothing complicated but art is art and in the end it's all the same.
Been at the beach?
Imagine after those 20,000 paintings you have 35 more years left to kill..without paint and brushes.
Painting is a daily heart and soul regulator. I’m habituated to it, like shaving, though the latter I have to do so the mouth tape will stick on at night.
A painting of just color and shapes usually is more useful to me than the best rendered cityscape. One is free, loose and innocently stupid, like the human animal, and the other is the pain and effort of copy through bricklaying, and for a result that appears almost super human. I like the instant, messy, un-thought out results. I usually add the title midway through. I don’t think Buddha had a hellhound. Maybe back at the palace, but not under the tree.
I walk to the lakeshore on summer evenings, but no swimming this year.
If I make it to 20,000, I’ll satisfy the rest of my life with pizza and television:)
