What's the deal? What's the next on Steemit?

What's been going on lately. Are bid bots back in action? Or are there some big curation pools going on? Is there any good efforts out there that are still curating on the Steemit?

What's the most interesting stuff you've found out there? If anyone is keeping up with this stuff let me know.
