Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 22/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on May 21th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. Likely you have already witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour which is disappointing but still just slightly earlier compared to yesterday, this was mostly due to finding another game to play and it's mechanics. When I did go to rest "after 3 nights of having some difficulty falling asleep" I found it a little easier to get there this time. When I did fall asleep I woke-up just under 1 hour before my scheduled alarm which is better as the previous 2 days I woke-up 2 hours before I had to.. just ridiculous. I tried getting some more sleep and while it was difficult I did get a little more. I woke-up to the alarm which was set for earlier than usual and there was no chance to rest any longer as I needed to get out of bed for work. As for the weather this morning like yesterday I was surprised that it reverted back to a very cloudy, dark morning, while yesterday I didn't think it would rain..well it actually rained for the entire day and so I suspect we may have the same today. However yesterday there was definitely a drop in temperature even had to put on a extra layer after dinner but today it's not cold thankfully. I guess I'm surprised as they are saying on the weather that once this remaining dull weather passes us it will be 3 months of heatwaves. I have little confidence in that statement as the weather is very dynamic around here. With work being so soon there was no chance of getting any basic chores done before my free time being up. While there was time for breakfast this morning I decided to skip it and instead eat there, I changed and left for work. On the way to work I also took the trash out with me to dispose, I can confidently say the rain continued to fall but not by much, the main thing is at least it's not cold. When I arrived to work I saw my colleague who will be doing the training that I have been talking about, see the guy who normally deals with the extra work as been training another 2 colleagues all last week and now this week he will train another. And that will be the guy who said that I wasn't being very encouraging or supportive enough towards him. Well unlike the other staff I can't help but speak the truth, I just wont pretend to sugar coat it🍭. It was funny yesterday to witness him asking me various times to assure him that the paper work isn't too terribly complicated to handle. Again I told him the truth but it also was humorous to see him looking terribly nervous about he's training. Enough that other people were telling him to calm down and that he was looking so nervous. Just as the extra work was set the fire alarms had accidentally been set by the guy who was actually doing the training. Oh dear and while that may not sound like a big deal because normally it's not, except this time for whatever reason the superiors couldn't stop the alarm from making so much noise. Which also interferes with our system meaning I couldn't do much with all that was happening but I think somehow the superiors seem to believe it doesn't cause issue. I believe they were annoyed that I hadn't done more work during that time. But honestly it messes with the systems and I don't understand how they still thought working like that would be fine. The other day I did feel like my colleague who was complaining about the superiors shouting at him all the time, as 2 of them decided to shout at me briefly for something very petty. We don't go to work to get shouted at, I mean is it really that difficult to talk to people like adults ❗❓ especially when they have done a small mistake? Well so it seems likely the guy who was doing his training perhaps felt the same way, I say this as he tried to sweeten 🍭 it by literally going out and buying them a box of chocolates. In one way I wonder if this just encourages them to shout at people more if they get rewards for such behaviour🤔. Anyway regardless I'm going way off track here but when I came in today I couldn't believe he was there again, it seems every time I come in he is on the same shift as me. And so I joked with him saying I hope this will be a quiet one and not another shift full of alarms ringing. He loved retelling he's story but I also began to notice everybody was wearing the promotional T-shirt from a few weeks ago, I guess I must of missed the MO on that oopps. Luckily this is not a problem and nobody brought it to my attention and so I will try and remember to wear it next time. Later I started to get on with the weekly tasks after seeing that my name was marked down for getting two tasks completed, one of them I'm not keen on. I expected to do more of these tasks in shift but instead I got too busy doing other things to get much of it done. As for the new training superior who will only be with us around 4 weeks "thankfully" as mostly all I see this guy does is walk around back and forth, checking he's phone all the time rather than learning or even doing any work for that matter. However this is the first shift where I can say he actually worked more than he had to, unfortunately this means he was using up some of my space. Still more strangely is when we left work the other day he bizarrely told two women who were walking to the nearby GYM that they must be crazy to be walking around at 7.30PM.. Why on earth did he say that🤷‍♂️? Is it a safety measure he was pointing out? It went past the 9PM mark and it was still light out, there were plenty of other women out. As he ever been out at night? Many of the women who go out clubbing don't get back home until 4 in the morning🤷‍♂️. Still I was glad when I got out of there today to see that it wasn't pouring of rain like yesterday. It was still raining but only slightly, unfortunately it also began to get windy. Home I started with getting chores done. The other day all my friends got all the completed information on who is doing what when it comes to the event days. However this did cause a bit of trouble as some friends are annoyed that others are not attending because I won't be going, this is all very petty and I feel bad for some of them because whatever choice they make there is still going to be those who will still be complaining and honestly I don't want to hear it. I'm just very annoyed that work 🤬 they didn't give me the time off needed to attend the event days. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. SteemFest in the past was a massive Steem dedicated event, SteemFest Korea 2024 will take place in the South Korean capital of Seoul on Saturday 25 May. It's not their first and I believe it's a smaller event compared to the original SteemFest events but that's ok anybody can put together a Steem event and it's great to see it happening in South Korean. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
