Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 8/6/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 8/6/2022.

Month of June and so we have reached the half way mark to yet another year way too quickly. Last month we reached Septuple Dolphin locking away 35000 Steem total, I promised on the announcement post I was going to add another 100, but I ended up putting in 300 Steem Power to the pot. On one occasion when I was trying to add another 50 Steem something was up with Steemit.com, I couldn't really do much of anything on here. I'm not sure if the cause was due to a update, some maintenance or a system issue, regardless I was hoping this would sort out some of the problems with acquiring Steem. For example wallets working like in the Bittrex case or the "NOT allowing for the trade of Steem on swap sites". I mean seriously I keep seeing Hive working perfectly fine on these various swap exchanges, except Steem on the other hand is always being taken off and on, why is this?❓ We need to know what we can do or how to fix this as I feel this is making Steem lose out on buyers. After the site began working again these problems still persisted, this is frustrating as it also adds more money loss on gas fees when purchasing Steem due to needing to do more exchanges. I'm still not sure if it was related or not but on June 3rd Steem was once again "thank goodness" available on the swap sites which means I will be trying to get my hands on another 600 Steem. I was in hope to get this done the other day but Steem was down again for most of the day, no idea why but it was rather scary at first when it came back as all the pending TRX rewards were set to zero, luckily this quickly fixed itself. Still I tried for the 600 Steem and at the moment I have strangely not received my Steem tokens, it's never taken this long and it's getting a little worrying.. I know for many it's been upsetting to see the Steem price fall down, not only that but the mayhem that is yet another month of war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. Yes it still goes on after it being 100 days of blood, it continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this ongoing war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Yes interestingly enough just as billionaire Soros talked about recently at the world economic forum.. oh that was surprising coming from him eh..

As for crypto we can see that Steem took a big fall, but of course it's mostly the cause of bitcoins having had it's big downwave. Sadly like this it's most unfortune that initially it's taken the SBD's value down along with it. But this was of course very much expected and I'm honestly surprised by how long it maintained such a high price. But we had an unexpected rise on June 5th taking SBD's to $5 and over this of course as now fallen as to be expected but it's still holding about $3 which is higher then what it's been recently so if it holds that would be good. SBD's quickly rinsed up before the Bitcoin price started to go up which is interesting still seeing all that cheap Steem out there up for grabs as been catching my attention and definitely the interest of others. As like most times I had already been beaten to that sweet $0.19 Steem price deal, dammit lol. We also saw the turn around as Steem very quickly jumped to $0.39 so with the SBD price also going up suddenly this does provide a great opportunity, it probably wont last long, as when this happened last time it all went back to normal in a matter of hours. And yes it dropped again and so I will continue to look at it as another situation for opportunity because id say if your looking to get more Steem then this might still just be the best time we have had in a while to buy cheaper. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it's hovering around the 30k mark. The weather in June is a little more stabilised compared to the previous month, we are still getting a mix of Autumn and summer days. On the 2nd it turned very hot and unfortunately my hayfever had been triggered and while it was mostly a dull day yesterday with little rain on the previous night I could still feel it's effects, luckily I been fine these past 2 days. As for today I was in work for the late morning shift, when I got in the guy who was there before me was nowhere to be seen I was just left with little notes about the things that had to be done. There was more than I expected perhaps he left early in shame that he hadn't done much before my arrival or there was some kind of emergency. Still I understood what needed to be done and got on with it, however what I didn't like was how a superior came over to check that I had received the notes. In one way yes I guess it's justified but it also isn't because she could of easily checked the system to see it was updated and that I had already started the work there was no need for her to go completely out of her way to come and see me she was obviously checking up on me for no reason. Anyway just before I left there was yet another incident I could hear some shouting and screaming from outside and while I could see exactly had happened myself but from what I was told someone cut a queue somewhere and these 2 guys got into a fight. It's insane how almost every day there is something, this time it happened in front of children, apparently the kids got scared enough that they hid where they could.

A while later after I got home Steemit was down again which is why there was no post yesterday this gave me the opportunity to catch up with some other things. Time passed so quickly also then tried again to meet my friends online for a few games this time it worked. Anyway when I was last in work I was surprised to see my boss was in as I had not seen him for a while which I thought it was because he was off on holiday again. But just the other day people were writing a card wishing him luck with he's new property to which I assume he's been off because of the move. Later I had to sign the card too, so looks like we are not just writing cards for birthdays now but also special events. Do people really enjoy receiving cards from people who don't care? As I came in the other day one of the staff was trying to prank me with all the work that needed to be done but I saw right past this lie and she wanted to know how she could make it more believable the next time she wanted to prank me lol. Towards the end of this shift we had another situation where a woman walked into our building and refused to get out. I was surprised that security didn't just throw her out, I was further disappointed by security when they didn't want staff to call police, the reasoning for this was they simply didn't want to spent more time doing paper work with the police. Now I understand people just want to go home after a long shift but still you can't just let people do whatever they want just because you don't want to do some paper work, it's part of security it's your job if you don't want to do this then throw this woman out of what is private property. She wasn't homeless or anything she was just being a nuisance, our staff even offered to drive her home, I don't know what happened once the police arrived as the superiors told me to leave once they were sure she was harmless.

I did however receive and heard some "current" good news and what I mean by "current" is that things can very easily change, but basically I have heard our competition who wants to buy us out of here is currently taking a hit on their profits. Firstly it's been admitted that they are reconsidering the risk of buying us out and pushing us out, and this is because secondly they just aren't making the money to be able to run their business after buying us off. While I find a few holes in this information it still offers the possibility that we can run business for a little longer, but heck this could all change just as easily so I wont hold my hopes up to high. My previous day off was fun since most of my friends said they had been stuck with a flood of paper work getting little to no exercise "hinting we should go for a walk some place". And luckily I had just the thing as I heard there was something going on nearby in town and so suggested we can make the walk past there and see what's going on. I honestly expected to get there and see nothing going on but while my friends said there was not a lot going on I had to disagree and actually ended up having a great day there. It was mostly families with their young kids with no idiots in sight.. well that's not true there were 2 but still considering all the people that were there it made for an amazing ratio. We enjoyed a few performances and some food, the atmosphere just made the whole thing very pleasant, my friends in the end even told me how it was a really nice day out. The usual idiots seemed to have kept away but were still seen near on it's outskirts, I don't know maybe we went at the right time. Still 3 days later I heard that in another location doing a similar event that these idiots were on TikTok mostly putting out treats to other teens and children that if they attend the event they better say goodbye to their parents and that they want all the young to turn up with knifes and guns to fight...I mean seriously what are these people on??! Then on my return home I was a little shocked because as I spoke to a friend on the phone telling him about the nice day we just had I was suddenly in a thick fog and couldn't see much. I started coughing and quickly could smell and realised that this "fog" was infact smoke. Once I managed to get out of the smoke as the wind was pushing it all in my direction I saw that it seemed that some of local yobs decided it would be fun to set on fire the skate park across the road.. I'm not even sure how they managed it as it's mostly concrete, I think they must of collected lots of sticks, dry leaves and bushes from the rest of the park and set the whole thing on fire. Luckily moments later I saw the fire truck heading towards the blaze and felt a little better that at least it was being dealt with quickly.
