Are they only processing accounts on work days? I wish they could tell us what resources they have for it. They need to automate the process to speed it up. We need thousands of new accounts each day to get the growth Steemit needs
I agree. I would think the process is automated. I guess not. Does an actual person have to approve every account?! No wonder it's taking so long. They definitely need to speed up the approval process. Taking a week or more could make people lose interest.
We don't really know what they are doing. I expect some people are using the alternatives like Anonsteem where you pay to get an account straight away
Did not know about anonsteem. So you can pay to play. What's that cost for an account?

Hope it's sorted soon as I've asked friends to join, and some of them think it's all too good to be true. So they will turn away quite easy if it's any major waiting.
I had this thought too, but then there would be none accounts over the weekend....
I think some people are using Anonsteem etc where you pay to get an account with no wait.
