Gary Johnson and the Libertarians are the way to go in this election. As a life long Republican it is troubling to say this, but, I cannot deny reality.
I understand where you're coming from. It is unfortunate that the American political system is fixated on the red-blue dichotomy. The Libertarian Party got 0.99% in 2012. In contrast, the UK Independence Party (3rd most popular in UK) got 12.6% in 2015.
