Will Steemit replace any social media platform?

I don't think Steemit will replace any social media platform. It just is an extra social media platform. With it's own unique features and own kind of people it attracts.

Just like Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter. They haven't replaced each other they just took different approaches to different 'problems'.
