5 Reasons why Steem is my favorite Cryptocurrency! [1 Year Steemian anniversary Special]

Hey there, steemians!

Recently, I have noticed that I have been on steemit for a year now! I felt a bit surprised on how it's been already a year that I have joined this amazing platform. I still remember the day when I joined steemit. Before getting into Steemit I have been wanting to get into crypto currencies and then my friend introduced me to steemit. It seemed nice and like a good way to get started, there were loads of posts about crypto currency and to me just seemed like a great way to get started and so I did.

I know do not post too often, but I do really enjoy going on steemit and if it weren't for work and school I'd probably be on quite more often. It's not that I don't want to post, but also I do not feel like I am a very good writer and I get a bit nervous posting on here. I have many ideas and I write it up but more than often I'll end up erasing it all and trying to think of something else to write about. So today, since it's been a year since I have joined I have decided I wouldn't hold back and I'll write a post about Steemit/Steem. Steemit is basically what started me up into the world of crypto currency.

Steem is truly my favorite Cryptocurrency. There is many good reasons why it is. So without further adu, let's get right into why Steem is personally my favorite Cryptocurrency. (Keep in mind there isn't any reason better than the other I'm just stating 5 of the many reasons why Steem is my favorite Cryptocurrency.)

5 - Ease of use
Steemit has got to be one of the simplest platforms to start in Cryptocurrency. Its ease of use and 0 transaction fees just make it a breeze to start up! You don't even need to buy Steem / Steem Power / Steem Dollars; you can even start up from nothing and work your way up if you really want to! I truly find that the ease of use of this platform really helped me getting started into Cryptocurrency.

4 - Quality Posts to learn from!

When I started, I honestly had no knowledge in Cryptocurrency what so ever. I knew it existed, but I had no idea what a blockchain was, or even that a decentralized network was even a thing. Using Steemit, I was able to learn so much. Reading so many posts that have taught me so much about crypto currencies, tutorials on how to do certain things. Steemit really seems to be the perfect platform to start up into crypto. Not only has it taught me most of what I know about crypto today, it is what started me up in crypto. It would only make sense for it to be my favorite Cryptocurrency!

3 - A truly amazing community!

Steemit consists of an amazing community. Everyone I have commented on their posts seem very friendly and seem to want to be helpful. Everyone seems to be trying to help each other, trying to make crypto even better than what it currently is. Even when times get rough, everyone pulls each other together and get by it together. I just find it really pleasant to comment or read posts/comments on this platform, because of the people who make it what it is. The community really plays a big part on how amazing Steemit really is.

2 - It's fun!

Steemit is probably the funnest crypto platform I have ever used. I mean even just the fact that there's a social media enabling you to earn crypto? It sounds too good to be true, but Steem/Steemit have made this dream a reality! Not only do you earn from it, you have fun while earning! Learning new things, getting to share your thoughts, reading many different points of view. It's just fun after fun after fun. I guess you could say it's fun² lol.. But yes, I really do find Steemit to be a fun platform, and like I said, if I had more time I'd probably be more active.

1 - Diversity

Steemit is very diverse. There are members from many age ranges, members who write about many different types of things, and people from all over the world! It's somewhere you can post about what you love, blog about what you want, or explain things you think might be useful or even post the dankest of memes on dmania.lol. It's a place where you can be yourself and help the community grow furthermore!

So this was 5 of the many reasons why Steem is my favorite Cryptocurrency. I would like to thank you so much for taking the time and reading! Like I said, I have joined Steemit about a year ago and I'm still here and I am not planning on leaving. :)
