Jesus should have started a bakery. He'd be filthy rich!

I would have started a bakery if I was Jesus.
I would be filthy rich in no time.
The audience; the ability to feed 5000 in one sitting with so little production cost.

I would probably make a fortune from gold coins in fish mouths
Or even built a fishing empire as the most efficient GIS (geographical information systems) consultant
Why not?
There's nothing wrong with making it with what God has given you.
Or is there?

This question of purpose. . . .
This thought that I can do it and do it well, so that is what I was made to do.

Are we really in God's will doing the things we do well?
Or there is a higher calling, a bigger point to make by all these abilities?
That like Jesus we can one day say "I do nothing except what I see the father do"; " I came down from heaven , not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me"
So what the motivational speakers say "discover your passion and follow your heart; your will. . . ." isn't that a bit off, per Jesus' example?

How then do we know that the powers is not to start a bakery. That the intelligence is not to accumulate degrees? That the skill is not just to build an empire.

But that there is a will that should overshadow ours.
That there is a purpose that should tame our potential.

. . . . deny yourself the bakery, take up your cross and follow Jesus.
Can we look at it without an unbiased, selfless viewpoint.

. . . . I'm just thinking.
Because I have always dreamed of God's grace helping me to achieve my dreams.
. . . . my dreams. lol. smh
