Neymar: My Football Idol

Hello everyone, am here again, like I said am a sport lover and I love sport so much most especially football and my idol is Neymar. It's heart breaking to see my idols team been disqualified. So sad.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup produced one of its biggest surprises as Norway defeated Brazil 2-1 in the Round of 16, ending Brazil's hopes of winning a sixth World Cup title. So so sad because the match match was filled with drama, emotion, and unforgettable moments, especially as Neymar my idol appeared to bring his international career to an emotional end

Neymar started the match on the bench after recovering from injury and entered during the second half. Although Brazil struggled throughout the game, Neymar managed to score a late penalty in stoppage time when a foul was committed in the 18 box which lead to a penalty Unfortunately, the goal came too late to save Brazil from elimination. After the final whistle, an emotional Neymar revealed that this was likely his last match for the Brazilian national team, saying that he had "tried" and that "it's over." His announcement marked the possible end of an unforgettable international career.

Neymar retired from the world cup with a legendary legacy Whether this truly marks the end of Neymar's journey with Brazil or not, his legacy is undeniable. He leaves as Brazil's all-time leading goalscorer and has entertained football fans for more than a decade with his creativity, skill, and unforgettable performances. But what paid me most is that, he never lifted the FIFA World Cup trophy 🏆🏆 😭

Football can be both beautiful and heartbreaking. Norway deserved their victory through determination and excellent teamwork, while Brazil will be left wondering what could have been.
