As one of the Astronomy lecturers, the author is very admiring the gait of Astronomy figures. Many Astronomy scientists who authors read biography. Not just reading biographies, but studying the innovations or findings of these scientists. One of the Astronomy scientists the author admired was Stephen Hawking. This black-hole expert was so impressed for the writer. Their work is often used as a motivational material for students and audiences when the author becomes training.

As one of the great scientists, Stephen Hawking is no stranger to the world of science. One of the Astronomers and Physicians is the most intelligent and brightest theoretical physicist in the historical record. In fact, Hawking is a scientist who suffers from Lou Gehrig's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A disease of neurons suffered early 1963 since.

Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, from the couple Dr. Frank Hawking, a biologist, and Isobel Hawking. He has two siblings, Philippa and Mary, and adopted brother Edward. Since the universe had a start when it exploded according to Big Bang theory, then Hawking proposed that the Big Bang might end. Hawking also proposed that Einstein's theory of General Relativity and quantum theory should be incorporated. As a result of the unification, making hawking issued a statement that the black hole is not completely silent but it radiates radiation. Further Hawking predicts that General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics will set up very thin as a proton black hole.

Hawking also suggested that the universe should be infinite. He exemplifies the Earth which although limited but we will never encounter a barrier when around the Earth. Until now Hawking has written many popular books and publications. The most popular publication is about black holes.

Hawking has also issued a controversial statement. Among the controversial statements are:

Regarding alien life. Hawking states that If aliens visit us, the results will be the same as when Columbus landed in America, which did not have a good impact on Native Americans. Source

Regarding Computer Viruses. Hawking's statement about computer viruses is as follows, I think computer viruses must be counted as life. I think (the computer virus) is saying something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We have created life with our own image. Source

Regarding nature of the semester, Hawking states that, Since there is a law like gravity, nature can create oneself from something that does not exist. The sudden creation is a reason for something and why it exists, why we exist. There is no need to ask God to begin and organize the journey of the universe. Source

About Stephen Hawking. Hawking also commented on his handicap. He stated that, To me, anger at the defects that I suffered was just a waste of time. We have to get on with this life, and I try not to get angry. People will not want to set aside time for you if you are always angry or complaining. Source

Such is the short biography of one of the scientists the author admired. For his services in the world of science, the British Empire awarded British nobles to Hawking. Hopefully more and more emerging scientists ahead of Stephen Hawking.
