Hi Steemian! In this topic, I will discuss about the functions and benefits of methods to stimulate the motivation of student. Part of the emotional intelligence to grow up student motivation by considering the stage of children's growth.

Motivation contributes to our understanding of some confusing facts in human behavior. In general, motivation can be said to explain the strengthening process, to identify reinforcements, to guide behavior toward a particular goal, to help change the behavior of stimuli and to persist in certain behaviors until they are achieved. We also behave normally in our daily lives, as if we are moving toward a place, that is human behavior is the goal. We can sit at the table for a certain time, pick up paper and write a page or more and put it in an envelope.

There is no doubt that all these actions have taken place and been organized because of a purpose in humans, and without high motivation to achieve this goal for all that is happening. Motivation also plays the most important role in human persistence to complete a job, and perhaps perseverance of the best standards used in estimating this level of motivation in humans. Motivation in this sense fulfills four main functions:

1. Motivation triggers behavior, motivation that motivates a person to perform certain behaviors, although it may not be the cause of the behavior. Psychologists have shown that the best level (motivation motivation) to achieve a positive result is the middle level. This is because low levels of motivation usually lead to boredom and lack of interest, and unreasonably high levels lead to increased anxiety and tension, which are two negative factors in human behavior.

3. Motivation influences the direction of our behavior toward important information that we need to pay attention to and address, and shows the right way to do it. Information processing theory suggests that students who are highly motivated to learn are more aware of their teachers than their low motivational peers (and attention, as is well known, is a very important issue for introducing information into short and long term memory). These students are also more likely to seek help from others if they need it. They are more serious about trying to understand the subject matter and turning it into meaningful material, rather than superficially dealing with it and storing it automatically.

4. Motivation - based on the above functions - leads to someone who performs well when driven. In this field, the field of education, for example, is that students who are motivated to learn are the best performers and the best performers.

Methods to stimulate motivation among participants
