TeeKingTV Minnow School || On Steemit, The Amount Of Input Efforts Is Proportional To the Out Rewards

You don't plant an onion and end up harvesting a pineapple, magic doesn't work that way, and that's the beauty of this blockchain.

Welcome back,

I am TeeKing (@teekingtv), the founder and a mentor at TeeKingTV Minnow School. A school which focuses on introducing the people in its physical and online environment to Steemit; grooming and mentoring minnows and providing adequate help and support the new comers. Today I'll be discussing on the reason why some minnows stay being minnows for several months without improvement or developing themselves into whales.

Just like I said above,

On Steemit, the amount of effort you input in adding values to this blockchain is directly proportional to the output rewards you get in return. i.e how the blockchain reacts back.

You can't be lazy and just be blogging as you wish without meeting some standards and expect the blockchain to reward you in a great manner. You are here on Steemit to work, not just to play around. Steemit rewards you for your hardwork, for giving some authentic values that aren't being given before. That's the beauty of this community.

Many minnows have been struggling hard to increase their reputation for several months, yet their struggles haven't been fruitful for once. Many have been looking for a way to be earning better rewards, but they hardly get 1SBD from a post. Steemit is a very large community. The competition is tense. The thing is the community is still in its early days and will only get larger and larger, and the competition among steemians will only get more tense. The only shot you've gotten is to give this community your all. That's the only way to hit the limelight.

How exactly do you do it right here on Steemit

  • Don't just publish posts anyhow, be specific.
Promo-steem post today, art paintings tomorrow and fiction story next tomorrow, no way! you don't do it that way. Know what you want to do.

  • Choose a niche that best suits your interest and capability.
Because your friend is earning huge rewards from a particular niche doesn't mean you should go into that as well. We aren't meant to like same things or have the same level of knowledge on that same thing. Just choose a niche that best suits you and that you know you can do best. If you're a musician, be giving us some melodies of yours, leave stories for poets.

  • Do what you have passion for.
If you're a lover of Sports, then be giving us Sports related posts. You'll find joy in doing what you like and you don't even get to see it as work. That relieve you from the burden of expecting too much rewards. Doing something you have passion for is never gonna look like a work to you.

  • Do not look forward to quick rewards.
Looking for rewards when you are still new here ain't gonna end well for you. You may get tired and abandon your account in no time when your posts aren't bringing rewards.

  • Be consistent with whatever and everything you're doing.
If you've choosing a particular post that you update everyday, then be punctual with it. Punctuality they say, is the soul of a business. You might not know, but many people are watching you. they just want you to prove them wrong about giving up before they start upvoting you. like I said, we are here on Steemit to work, not just to get paid for doing unworthy things.

  • Let your posts be your posts
    I love Steemit for one thing, its strictness when it comes to plagiarism. Whatever you choose to be posting must be your original work of high quality. There's this popular saying among we bloggers (I mean outside Steemit);

Content is the king

When your content is good, you're bound to get noticed in no time. Many people are here to read original contents. We aren't here to read news that we know where to get. Your content is what makes you distinct from other steemians. So, work greatly on your contents.

Work on this platform with everything you've got. After all, it is so worth the sacrifice. Put your utmost efforts and you will soon start getting the rewards for your hardwork.

That is all for today guys. I'm still a minnow and I'm learning from my mentors, yet, it is my hope that you find this post educative, informative and totally helpful.

See you at the top!
