Security 101: Always sanitize/quarantine your inputs - even if those inputs are DNA! It's super fun that some UW researchers got to work on this.
Scientists must realize that some fields are related although it sometimes does not look so
Agreed - almost every field is starting to be related to computers, so it'll be interesting how security concepts are integrated.
