We are proud to showcase some of the posts that we collected from our members and those that used the tag #steemitfamilyph or #untalented.
Our purpose is to discover hidden gems and polish them as we mentor and curate their work so that they will produce good quality posts that further enrich the Steemit Community and be a source of pride for Filipinos.
Before long, as more and more people joined, we welcomed and made them feel like our extended family.
So what does it mean when they get featured?
• They get rewarded with 100% vote from @steemitfamilyph for good quality posts (more delegations coming!)
• They get their post resteemed!
• Members of the @steemitfamilyph will also reward them with additional upvotes.
So here they are, the 5 featured posts for today in no particular order:
A detailed tour to Siargao. It is bettee if you read the article. It will make you want to visit the place.
Siargao (shar-gaw) is in the province of Surigao del Norte. Three years ago, I went there for the first time with my friends. I met them when I was still active in Couchsurfing, a hospitality site. They were a free-spirit like me and a volunteer during the earthquake in Bohol and specially during the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). We stayed there for 6 days and almost everyday we went out to surf. It's one of my favorite islands here in the Philippines, a very laid back island. If you wanna experience an island life, you should definitely go there. Non-surfers can enjoy the island as well.

@hundredlbsbeauty's long journey in MLM.
We all have that moment in our life where we thought it will be an adventure but it wasn't. Life is a roller coaster ride and we all have our own shares of mishaps, and that's what makes us who we are now.
As I continue my mission here on steemit, I will be sharing on a fortnight (or if I can weekly) all the misadventures I've been through. I want to impart this in case you are going through it, might go through it or about to go through it. I will be giving tips on what can be done to avoid such mishaps from happening again or from ever happening

Her post is about her 3 children and their unique traits.

@dranren talks about running out of things to post on steemit and he found a new way to gather more future posts by using the app sketch.
Everyday, everytime here in steemit I am thinking and looking of something that I can be posted. There are many contest that are existing everyday , but the problem is I am out of stock , meaning I already posted all the images in my phone?! This is weird?!There are a lot of things that have a beautiful view and angle to capture: Flowers, trees , stones , houses and many more, the problem is Lack of time to capture them all.

A story about a boy that had disabilities but was able to push through. Must read!
Once upon a time, in a little village downriver, there was a boy who wanted to swim up to the Valley of the Gods. Everyone in the village laughed at his idea and told him that it was impossible. This boy was very special you see, he could not talk, he walks funny, moves funny, and all the villagers thought that he would not amount to anything...
