Steem has great potential I believe.

1. It's a platform.
2. Platforms are able to add features (like dtube) and adapt over time to remain relevant.
3. It's a zero-cost to participate concept so it won't hold itself back by not having to prove its value to users "before" they use it (I see this issue preventing a number of great crypto Dapps/platforms from gaining initial momentum even though the product or service is needed).
