Hello @luciaanna,
Please note that for #steemitphotochallenge people are assuming that you are an author of submitted photographs. Which most probably is not the case here.

Excuse me, I am a newbie. Joined yesterday. Actually, I am not the author of this photo. I saw it in pixabay, CC0 Public Domain, free for commercial use, no attribution required.
So I am asking you, please, for the following question: am I allowed to post this photo into steemitphotochallenge and/or in other sections of steemit?
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance @gtg.
Creative Commons: If you are posting content under a Creative Commons license, please attribute and link according to the specific license. If you are posting content under CC0 or Public Domain please consider noting that at the end of your post.
Not indicating that the content you copy/paste is not your original work could be seen as plagiarism.
If you are actually the original author, please do reply to let us know!

Those are rules of #steemitphotochallenge.
As for other places, it's best to deal according to license terms and fair use.
This is your first and last warning, please do not do it again
Not citing the source of photos(images) is plagiarism. Here is a post on why this is bad, and here is how easy it is to find allowed photos.
