Always look forward to reading @steemitweekly, a great summary of the happenings on the steem blockchain. Although there seems to be no mention of the current flag war between, you know who and @fulltimegeek. I think when someone is willing to give up on some significant rewards to make the steem blockchain a better place, they should get a mention. Plus, who doesn't like drama??

Now, back to the issue at hand.
We intentionally took out the heavy drama because they both need to get along. We actually need them to fight together not against each other. There's a lot more problems needing to be tackled other than them fighting each other.

I've actually got used to it now. It also means I get a lot less spam comments!! Why the front end designers don't create a solution where followers can choose to see the content of people they follow without having to click through, I don't understand. @steemit @busy.org @partiko @steempeak, anyone listening?

I am not a fan of bidbots, what @steemitweekly needs is circulation and the upvotes will follow.
Some form of incentives for the first few resteems may help? I am happy to give out upvotes to those that do it, maybe if we can get a few other "sponsors" to do the same, we may be at the beginning of creating our own little news media organisation here on the steem blockchain!
Currently have 5 resteems, we need this to be in the 100s if not 1000s.
Last week, we had 6 resteems.

We're aiming for wide readership so everyone can find valuable information or drama . Sometimes you're on your own bubble it's great to venture out every now and then.
Ahh...that could do it. That makes me a bit sad really because my Resteems did nothing. I do see one person from my manual promotional attempt commenting here + a few votes as well.
I almost think HF20 spooked too many people out.

I can relate to that. Steem is my little escape from all the various projects I am working on. Every so often I need to prune the desire to work on so many things and refocus

For a weekly issue, our goal is to have as much engagement as possible. The bigger upvotes are nice, but the lack of comments does make the staff feel a little dead inside.

In the interim since my last comment, I clicked over to Medium, where I read an entire article devoted to whether or not people making the "ok" sign were actually white supremacists involved in a vast secret conspiracy to make hand signs and take over the world. It was not satire.
