Its a card game in which game play hasn't started yet. Currently you can collect / trade and sell cards you get in booster packs. Booster packs cost $2 USD but aside from hitting a lucky valuable card you get much better ROI purchasing single cards from the market on the official site.

Game start is planned for the upcoming weeks in which there will be a daily tournament with $50 value in it. There will also be a $1000 weekly tournament. There will be 1 on 1 battles as well. It isn't turned based. You pick your team from your monster collection and then the battle plays out.
