Spending my leisure time with friends

Leisure is fun. It's what keeps us alive to keep enjoying nature's beauty; good meals, friends, sightseeing, music and a lot more. Let's see how I spend my leisure time, my favorite hobbies and why I love them.

How do you spend your leisure time?

For leisure, I love going through my old photos and videos, thanks to Google photos. I still have my backups from as far back as 2020 till date. It feels so good recollecting the nice moments each photo tells.

If I'm not going through photos or videos, I watch a movie. Sometimes I play cool music and take and rest. That gentle sounds makes me feel refreshed and set to continue the remaining activities of the day.

Though I have many activities during my leisure time. I have favorite hobbies which are writing and studying. I love writing because it helps me improve my writing and communication skills. Studying helps me learn new things and expand my knowledge whether it's studying the Bible or learning new skills. These add value to my life and help me become a better me.

Why do you enjoy this activities?

Going through my photo gallery turns ordinary days into stories worth remembering. Writing makes me feel creative and useful, it's better off than staying idle.

Other hobbies I enjoy and why?

Aside the ones I've mentioned, other hobbies I use to enjoy during my leisure time are: singing, cooking, drawing, craft and others.

Naturally I love singing. I have taste for good music. About cooking, I'm a foodie, so I need to know how to cook. I love trying new recipes and I even invent some recipes. Most time they turn out well; sometimes not that good but still manageable.

Then, about drawing, I draw once in a while when the motivation comes, and sometimes after drawing I wonder if I actually created the drawing. Aside drawing I also do craft work like knitting and others.

Do you rather spend your leisure time alone or with others?

Yes I do! I regain my energy when I do this. Spending my time alone makes me concentrate on most important things like prayer, meditation, and writing without distractions.

Sometimes I also spend my leisure time with people, we laugh, gist, share food, play games, take photos and create a whole lot of fun memories.

I love both ways of spending my leisure time because they refreshes me differently. But I mostly settle for time alone, as it comes with big advantage towards improving myself.

Self-care🥰

No matter your nature of work, create leisure time to relax and recharge before you continue your work. Life is too precious to be treated or handled as trash. Take good care of yourself well. Your body deserve good food, music, gist, screen time, games, sightseeing and other good things you can use as leisure.
