Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

It has been a while since we last posted for Caturday, but we decided to give it another try today. So happy Caturday, everyone!

For those of you who don't know, Caturday is an old Internet tradition in which people share pictures of their cats on Saturday.

With four cats at our place, we have no shortage of cat pictures!

I have to admit we fell out of the habit last time we were visiting, and discovered that using the #cats tag did not lead to posts about cats but to a bunch of garbage!

What do I mean by garbage? Well it meant that when we went to look at what was under "cats" there was just a whole bunch of AI generated nonsense that had nothing to do with cats. That sort of put a sour taste in my mouth.

I think some of the accounts that were posting the garbage are still around, but they have at least stopped using the #cats tag, and that's good enough for me to want to resume contributing.

I'm pleased to say that when we came back today and checked for new cat content the #cats tag actually revealed genuine posts about cats. Therefore, it seems like a good time to add our voice back into the mixture!

Otherwise all has been well in our little neighborhood. All the cats are doing very well, even elderly Smudge who is now well in excess of 20 years old!

With Halloween just around the corner, we always like to encourage people — as a safety precaution — to keep their cats inside from a couple of days before to a couple of days after Halloween, particularly if they have Black Cats.

There are strange and sick minded people in the world who will do horrible things to cats in the name of cultish religious practices. Better safe than sorry!

Our Hoomans have been quite busy lately, mostly with things they call "taxes," which seems to annoy them quite a bit!

Sad to see the crypto markets take such a severe dump recently... it seemed to hit our Steem token very hard, and it seems to still be lingering around $0.09, which is pretty sad.

October is normally a pretty decent month for crypto, but this year has not been kind... particularly to the "alt coins."

Well, I guess we should get this posted and check around for other cat content!
