The rediscovery of "Avatar" Pandora is still attracting interest. The Way of Water: Another Huge Box Office Hit?

There are several good arguments against being optimistic about "Avatar: The Way of Water."
It's been more than ten years since James Cameron's fantastical sci-fi epic "Avatar" defied expectations by breaking box office records and earning $2.85 billion in worldwide ticket sales. But since viewers first came into contact with the Na'vi, times, preferences, and expectations for the box office have all significantly changed. In the years that followed, theater operators grew more dependent on high-budget comic book extravaganzas, and 3D technology (despite Cameron's best efforts) did not take off as the director had planned. Billion-dollar hits outside the superhero genre have been scarce, particularly since the epidemic.

Incredible sums of money have been poured by Disney and 20th Century into the expanding cinematic world, including $250 million for the making of "Avatar 2." Given this, "The Way of Water" won't be successful by just making huge profits at the box office. To appease its backers and disprove the doubters, it must become a sensation, grossing at least $1 billion globally. Expectations will be extremely high because it is the sequel to the all-time highest-grossing movie.
Expectations will surpass the typical $1 billion mark that most A-tier blockbusters aim for, especially with the inescapable increase in ticket prices brought on by 3D and premium screens around the world, according to Shawn Robbins, the principal analyst at Box Office Pro.
