Steem Heights Season 9 — Climb Tip to be on top Rank (Glacier Plate OP)

Steem Heights Season 9 is back.
Of course, had to jump right in.

Today I’m sharing a simple climb tip for getting higher in Steem Heights.
It’s something I use every season, and it’s the reason I consistently stay near the top.

As you climb higher, the wind gets stronger and the platform gets thinner.
That’s what makes the game really tough.
So the key strategy? Slow things down.

And for that, there’s one must-have skin: GLACIER PLATE.
It reduces your speed by 15%, which makes control way easier.

Best part — it’s actually easy to get.
Just complete 3 daily challenges, collect 150 energy, and you can buy it on day one.

That’s exactly what I did — played 6 runs and cleared all the challenges.

At first, I struggled a bit since it’s been a while — only reached 20m.
But right after that, I quickly climbed to 74m, then 115m.

Once the challenges were done, I went straight to buy the skin and tested it immediately.

With Glacier Plate, your character turns blue and you can feel the slower movement.
Much easier to control.

Final result — climbed 154m.
That includes a 24 combo streak, giving me an extra 54m bonus.

Ended up taking 1st place.

2nd place hit 125m in just 2 runs — definitely a strong player.
3rd place had 9 runs, so they might have also picked up the Glacier Plate.

Either way, these are familiar names I always see near the top.
