After the successful completion of Season 7 of the highly popular and addictive game Steemheights on the Steemit platform, the much-awaited Season 8 has started today. As a regular gamer, I have been waiting for this day for a long time. A new season means new enthusiasm, new challenges and even bigger rewards. The incredible success that I have seen by entering the game on the first day of the season today is truly gratifying.

Steemheights is basically a tough test of your patience and timing. The main goal of this game is to go as high as possible by placing one block on another perfectly. Today I tried 3 times in a row and my performance improved with each step.

First attempt: My climb ended at a height of only 47 meters due to my hands being a little stiff at the beginning. In this, I was only able to do 4 combos.

Second attempt: Now I started playing with a little more focus. As a result, I reached a height of 82 meters after completing 8 combos and completed 11 combos.

Third attempt: This was my best performance of the day. Playing with full concentration, I reached a height of 83 meters. In this round, I was able to do 12 combos and added a +24 meter bonus score.

The biggest surprise was when I checked my position on the leaderboard. Currently, with a score of 83 meters, I am in the 3rd position on the leaderboard. Above me are @iamheretoo (108m) and @rabiafaisal (104m). Although I know that with time, many more skilled players will come and the positions will change, it is still a great honor to see my profile picture in the top three of the leaderboard on the first day of the season.

In today's gameplay session, I not only scored well, but also completed some important challenges. According to my personal status summary, I landed a total of 27 combos today. This completed the daily challenge "Precision Master" (which required 10 combos) and I qualified for the +75 Energy reward. I am also very excited to have qualified for the huge prize pool of 500 Steem.

The Steemheights game is not just a game for me, but a great way to improve my concentration. Currently, my average height is 71 meters and I am hopeful that this season I will be able to break all my previous records and go much higher.
