My first gaming experience and leaderboard update on SteamPro

On the Steemit platform, we all spend our time regularly presenting quality content and doing various tasks. However, I feel that when a fun or exciting game is added to the platform along with this regular writing, the monotony of work is overcome and the desire for work increases.

Recently, I came across the Steem Heights game while entering the Games section of the SteemPro platform. Yesterday, I started playing the game for the first time in my life with great curiosity. To be honest, at the very beginning, I had some difficulty understanding the correct timing of the game and the balance of the blocks. However, after trying it 3-4 times, I realized that as easy as the game looks, playing it in reality requires a lot of attention and strategy!

In my opinion, I made a few more moves or tries (moves/tries) because I did not understand the rules properly in the beginning, which had some impact on my overall stats. However, after observing the gameplay for some time, when I was able to grasp the movement of the blocks, I was able to feel the real thrill of the game.

What is Steem Heights and the real attraction of the game

Steem Heights is one of the most fun physics-based casual block climbing games I've seen. Here, the player has to drop each hanging block onto the block below at the perfect time to build a tower.

Some of the main interesting aspects of the game, in my opinion:

• Perfect Placement and Combo Bonus: If the block can be dropped perfectly along the center, then a perfect combo is obtained. I noticed that if you can do multiple combos, the points and height increase very quickly.

• Wind Speed: The higher the tower rises, the more the blocks sway in the wind (e.g., wind 0.1). If you lose balance due to the slightest carelessness, the tower collapses, and the Climb Ended message appears.

• Transparent Leaderboard: Since each run of the game is linked to the blockchain, the score is updated in full real-time, which I found to be quite reliable and fair.

Season 17 is currently underway, and there is a nice prize pool of 500 STEEM for the winning gamers. Judging by the state of the leaderboards, I think there is a pretty competitive atmosphere across the entire Steam community.

I am truly impressed by the skill and timing of those who are at the top of the leaderboard in the current season! The way they have perfectly arranged blocks to raise the tower is truly amazing:

My current performance on the leaderboard

Although I spent a lot of tries at the beginning without realizing it, after a lot of effort, I was able to reach a height of 25 meters in one round and also got 1 combo and +2m bonus. Overall, my achievements so far are:

My current rank: 16th

Highest achieved height: 40m (32 tries)

Total combos: 2 COMBOS

My Potential reward earned: 2.015 STEEM

Currently, @mamun123456 bhai (42 meters) is right above me, and @ariful2 bhai (15 meters) is below me. Looking at this point gap, I think if I can play a few rounds with a little more focus and concentration, it might not be impossible to make it to the top 10!

Some Helpful Tips for Beginners from My Experience

Based on my own experience, those of you who are new to Steam Heights can keep the following things in mind:

1. Don't rush: I think that rushing the blocks can cause you to lose your balance. So, you should wait until you understand your speed and reach the middle.

2. Pay attention to combos: If you can ensure combos in the first 5-6 blocks, your points will increase faster than increasing the height.

3. Pay attention to wind fluctuations: After the tower rises high, you should calculate the wind speed and tap only after reaching the correct position of the block.

In my opinion, adding games beyond posting and curation to the Steemit ecosystem is a great initiative. This gives everyone in the community a chance to have some fun while working. I can't help but appreciate this unique effort by SteemPro.
