Day of Pentris — Two Games, One New Record
Day of Pentris — Two Games, One New Record!
Today’s Pentris session was short but unforgettable. I played just two rounds, and even though both ended in Gameover, the experience was filled with surprises, laughter, and one massive achievement that made the day feel complete.

1st Round
The first round was honestly hilarious. The moment I saw the score land on 404, all I could think of was the classic “404 error — page not found.”
It felt like my concentration was missing, my reflexes were not loading properly, and my blocks were refusing to rotate with sense 😅.
Still, even though it ended quickly, it helped me warm up and reset my mind for the next attempt.
2nd Round
This round was the complete opposite of the first one. Everything suddenly clicked — the rotations, the placements, the speed control, and the decision-making.
Block after block, I got into a steady rhythm. Before I knew it, I crossed 1,000, 1,500, and then 2,000.
Hitting 2199 felt amazing because it became my highest Pentris score of all time. Even though it still ended in a Gameover, the sense of progress and improvement made it worth it.
Reflection
Today perfectly shows how unpredictable these retro-style games can be. One moment you’re laughing at a “404” performance, and the next moment you’re breaking your personal record.
I’m proud of today’s results, especially the record-breaking second round. It shows that consistency is growing and I’m becoming more comfortable with faster speeds and trickier block placements.
Tomorrow, the goal is clear:
Break 2200 and continue pushing the limits!
