I think I'm the last one on the planet to post this
It had dawned a grey morning, but there was "something" in the air, I could feel it. I was at the beach early, the only one there...watching......waiting........then it happened!
Squinting into the rising sun, I saw movement, THEY WERE HERE !! After a very long, LONG swim, they had finally arrived. I rushed down to welcome them all.
They were all so lovingly prepared for their long journey, they have arrived in pristine condition and hadn't lost an once of weight!! This is not an easy feat when swimming the Pacific Ocean, down to New Zealand.
Safe at last, I welcomed them to Aotearoa ...Land of the long white cloud
They all replied
I knew then, they would fit in well
