Purdue looks to end Rutgers season tonight

The Purdue Boilermakers will try and advance to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament tonight when they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The game tips off at 7:55pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on the Big Ten Network. It will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York. Purdue is favored by 14.5 points and the over/under is 133 points.

Purdue is on a mission to win the entire Big Ten Tournament and prove that they are the big dog in the conference. They have had a fantastic season and are led by their four seniors. The Boilermakers spent a lot of time in the top 5 this season before hitting a speed bump and losing three games in a row. They have bounced back nicely though and I think are the best team in the Big Ten.

Rutgers had an awful season. They finished in last place in the Big Ten with a 3-15 record. But the Scarlet Knights did beat the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday night to advance to another round in the tournament. They have NO CHANCE tonight though when they take the court against Purdue. They are outsized and outgunned. This game will get ugly and I predict a 20+ point win by Purdue.
