@surfermarly I actually used this tag #promo-steem because I felt the tag might help to promote good quality posts (post promotion). I might be wrong though.
I came across the tag and decided to use it.
You can check the guidelines regarding the tag in the promo-steem discord channel, I just reached out to you there :-)
