I used to crack my knuckles all the time when I was younger and now they won't do it any more. I can bend my fingers back almost 90 degrees and there's no popping sound.

I wonder what's going on there ?

    I'm not sure. I didn't run across anything like that when I was reading up on the topic. That's kind of interesting, though.
