This reminded me of an article I once read about scientists discovering a place in the Karakum desert where a particular hole has been on fire for years.
Does it count as an eternal flame? Or wait; could it be a door to hell? :D

    Hehe! The door to hell was one of my first phenomenon posts. It counts as an eternal flame... man-made though and a little too big to be called a flame :P
