Hello Steemians. I guess you are enjoying your World Cup and rooting for your favorite team.

As the World Cup is ongoing, xenophobia is trying to distract Africans, leading to Afrophobia. Afrophobia is a concept where Africa is against Africa, with hatred, rejection, and war. In South Africa, other African countries, who are their sisters and brothers, are told to vacate South Africa 🇿🇦 unprepared.

Nigerians, Ghanaians, Zimbabweans, and other countries are evidently affected. They call them “foreigners” and that they must go. When this unprecedented issue started, they are saying that it is to sanitize the country against illegal immigrants, but as the days unfolded, both the legal and illegal immigrants are suffering the same fate.

I was speechless, and I wept for Africa. Why are we at war with ourselves? The colonial masters left us a divided continent, and over the years, we're unable to be a united Africa. Where is our conscience as Julius Nyerere will speak to the heart and soul of Africa on “consciencism” while Kwame Nkuruma will stand for the total “emancipation” of Africa.

Seeing how South Africans beat their brothers, looting and vandalizing their properties forced out tears from my eyes. Is Africa dancing to a rhythm that sounds different from the negro strength of oneness? If we cannot love ourselves, are we expecting the West to love us?

Pan-African is the hope and the path to foster peace in Africa. Pan-Africanism reminds Africa of common interest “liberation”. We were enslaved before the actual slavery. Is slavery more than poisoning the mind of a brother against the other.

The Associate Prof has been championing the Pan-African Project in this part of the world. It was a rare privilege that I went to the studio with him to air the knowledge to all on the need to decolonize the minds of Africans. “Africa, you are not an enemy to Africans, you are supposed to be a united Africa”

We are going to 5 different studios in Uyo to discuss the Pan-African Project. Let it become a household movement. We need to come together as one and think about our political failure, economical crisis, leadership problems and Afrophobic actions.

Africa is the cradle of civilization and we need to return to our uniqueness, building the Africa of our dream. No matter our skin colour, Africa is one.

THANK YOU ALL FOR READING ❤️
