The weight of Goodbye: A mother's farewell

I wonder why death strikes with no mercy; no matter how good or bad a person is, they all end up dying. No matter how poor or rich people are, they still leave this world with nothing. Death is inevitable, it is just a point on the cycle that everyone revolves to.

It is so tough to bring up a child, before he/she turns a year older then two and 5, moves on to do things all by themselves, it takes a lot of care and attention from both parents, how about the spending aspects, from the medicals these kids undergo to the food and clothing.

Parents pay up their fees till they finish school, all those amounts sum up to millions, but they hustle daily, thinking about these kids. Now it reaches the point where they're meant to enjoy this fruit of their labour, a time for them to sit while their kids take good care of them, but they become too weak and sick to stay.

Now death comes not knocking, breaking through the door and holding firm with its claws, no mercy, no remorse just doing what it was meant to do; to take away Love.

A mother's love is genuine; it takes a lot to be called a mother; they risk their lives to bring a new Life. They're women who dump their kids immediately they giving birth. No, that's not the mother I'm talking about in this scenario; this one is concerned with the well-being of her child.

Having one child is a lot of tasks, now imagine having 7( 4 boys and 3 girls) all grown up, now it's time to enjoy the fruit, but you're no more. If tears could do the magic and bring back Life, the tears of these children would have flooded her soul back to Life.

My friend is Strong, I see him acting all cool and bright every day in school, preparing every day for his exams. We did talk, but I never noticed a thing, he looked so alright and cool. I heard the news, it was so heartbreaking and I was thinking how he would cope with exams and studies that month, but God went through for him.

I went with @us-andrew to the burial to extend our heartfelt condolences to him. It was a teary moment but all Glory went to God as we are hopeful for the Life after death.
