Stellar Lumens has everything you need to be the top cryptocurrencies in 2018
Nowadays, it is quite difficult to identify good coins for investment. We constantly see coins that are a scam or a series of pumping schemes for a particular coin. Stellar is an alternative with great potential.
Stellar ready to "fly"
One of the proven strategies of the founders of cryptocurrencies, to increase the cost and market value of their project, is by hiring experts in the development of a block. Another important thing they often do is to sign partnership agreements with big companies or individuals to use the currency and also to promote it. The above strategies have worked well for a variety of block-based digital currencies.
A few weeks ago, the market capitalization of Stellar Lumens (XML) jumped from $ 2.5 billion to $ 8.6 billion. Two weeks ago, Stellar's market capitalization reached $ 15 billion. Although the market capitalization has dropped its price, compared to capitalization two weeks ago, Stellar's team is very positivistic.
Experienced crypto analysts predict that Stellar's market capitalization could reach $ 183 billion by the end of 2018. This is not negligible given the fact that the most popular cryptocurrencies Bitcoin has a market capitalization of $ 202 billion. If this forecast happens, then this means that the price of Stellar will rise by 1700% this year. Experts also believe that the price of Bitkine will increase by over 140% this year, while the price of Ethereum is expected to rise by 170%.
Stellar Lumens co-founder, Jed McCaleb, is the creator of the first ever exchange, Mt. Gox, and he also participated in the creation of Ripple. Ripple is currently ranked third, with a market capitalization of over $ 56 billion.
In October 2017 IBM Corp. have announced they will use Stellar to speed up transactions in the southern Pacific. After the partnership was signed, McCaleb said:
"Currently, cross-border payments usually take a few days. This new introduction is set to launch a major change in the South Pacific coastal countries and, after being fully scaled by IBM and the bank's partners, could change the way money moves around the world by helping to improve existing international transactions and improve financial inclusion in developing countries. "
IBM has suggested that it can use Stellar Lumens to process up to 60 percent of "South Pacific cross-border payments," estimated at about $ 1 billion a month. Crypto enthusiasts believe that the fully decentralized nature of Stellar can surpass the centralized alternative, Ripple.

Thanks for your thoughts on that. I'm also bullish wrt Stellar and Lumens, and I also think its decentralized nature may turn out to be a major advantage over Ripple. However, what are your views in terms of adoption - will the current state of traction not be an argument towards RIpple?

For individuals, I think Stellar will be more useful as a means of exchange and more businesses are likely to accept it. Stellar is trying to intertwine people, payment systems and banks. XRP on the other hand, is just a liquidity instrument for financial firms.
