Smart cards, also called integrated circuit cards are small PVC cards with an embedded microprocessor.As a Nigerian, Permanent Voters Card was the first pop in my mind...lol
Sorry Nigeria's permanent voter's card is not a smart card, PVC I meant was polyvinyl chloride
