If you think minnowbooster is a good use of your sp you dont understand the math of steem.
When folks gang up they disadvantage everybody that doesnt play along, and most of those that do.
Taking from the many to give to the few is the opposite of what i would consider a good use of my money.
If you care to know the truth of steem and its math, ask around about the whale experiment and how it forced a hardfork so the scammers could continue raping the reward pool.
minnowbooster is not a gang up of its customers, it is a collusion (better word for it than collaboration, and not because of what you think).

The whale experiment that produced a hardfork.
Ok, it was about putting a muzzle on the whales.
When large sp votes little sp gets pushed off the tail.
If 1000sp are voted in total, 100sp for you, you get 10% of the rewards for that day.
But, if a whale votes another 1000sp, you only get 5%.
The whales were sucking up all the rewards and nobody wanted to play the game, so some responsible whales stepped up and started flagging all votes over 80mv, ~40k sp.
This made the minnows matter in the math and stinc mad, so they forked the chain to enable selfvoting and vote selling because they like scammers more than poor people, imo.
They as in the developers?
Whomever is empowered to change the code in the github.
