Tecoma capensis also known as the Cape honeysuckle which is a species of flowering plant in the family of Bignoniaceae, native to southern Africa.
The plant is quite useful to humans & bark is used in traditional medicine to relieve pain & sleeplessness, to cut down fevers, treat chest ailments such as bronchitis, treat stomach pains, diarrhoea, dysentery & to encourage the flow of milk in nursing mothers while the leaves are used to treat diarrhoea & gastro-enteritis.

esta planta me recuerda, a una gran señora de tiempos de mi escuela, se llamaba asi; Madre Selva, y a la vez tambien se me parece esta planta la que se llama croto, aqui en venezuela.
