You're right, as you said every street tells a story of that particular area. Today being a festive day and holiday for Eid celebration most shops, hotels and offices are closed so you might find the area a little lesser crowded.

But I will try to capture my area and its streets to present its real lifestyle and atmosphere. I will show you urban street life, roads and public transport scenes, and also transport hubs along with roadside commercial areas. You might find human activities a little less today but I will try to provide everyday moments how the life moves in this area.

I bring Modipuram area for your consideration, which is a well-planned residential locality at the outskirts of Meerut, India. This town is not an old town but as it came into existence after the former Modi Continental tyre industry also known as Modi Rubber Ltd.

As I have selected an area and not a particular place so I will start from Modipuram Bypass and PIN the location of the same. I have a lot to say but I will keep my activities within 500 meters from my residence.

What makes this street or area important in the daily life of local people?

This entire town has a small area of about 4.5 km² including the areas where I live Pallavpuam, this area is located on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway connecting it by rail, metro and road transport to a vast area. We have the fastest metro connectivity and our nearby express highways make our journey convenient.

What kinds of activities or people can usually be seen there?

Modipuram being a satellite town, you'll mostly see families living a calm, balanced lifestyle. As people from all walks of life here but mostly from rural background as this used to be rich farmers' area people prefer calm and relaxed life.

If you happened to be here in the mornings you will see people jogging, walking, and exercising in parks available in every sector of this area with wide walking trails.

However, if you look at the elderly people they are still gathering in parks for socializing, and as you can see the orthodox lifestyle hasn't changed a bit as rickshaws, cars, and buses move along the busy roads connecting to highways.

What story or feeling do you think this place expresses through your photographs?

I will explain the story of my all photos in brief for your easy understanding which explain how the residents in this area live and where modern convenience meets family-friendly tranquility. I have lived in way more peaceful areas but somehow I miss the warmness that I feel here. I will show you how peaceful is this place away from big city's noise and chaos, even if connected to Delhi and other big cities and being on the main highway.

There are number of spiritual places and home to diverse religious places like temples, mosques to salah five times daily, churches hosting Sunday worship services, and gurudwaras.

Besides spirituality, recreation centers provide spaces for fitness, sports, and social gatherings, bringing families together.

Overall you can say Modipuram is a complete community hub which perfectly creates a balanced lifestyle where people of all faiths coexist peacefully,

We have a number of malls and cineplexes within walking distance besides essential commodities like petrol, gas and you name it.
