1 - A defining moment of your school life (A day you will never forget, your first day of school or any happy, fun or emotional school experience that still lives in your heart).

Primary school was one of the best times of my life, I honestly enjoyed myself a lot there, we played hopscotch, we ran around, we had fun, we played soccer, we played with tazos, we collected albums (I still remember how every day after school I would go with my classmates to buy the cards at the bodega next to the school while our mothers and guardians waited for us and chatted among themselves). They were good times, very good times.

However, one extraordinary, epic moment (which I remember as if it were yesterday) was the last day of elementary school. We were a group of five friends, very close, and that day, at the end of the afternoon, we decided to take one last walk around the school together, reminiscing about the wonderful moments we had spent there. It had been six marvelous years; but at the same time, knowing it was the last walk and that we would never do it again, we were aware that nothing would ever be the same and that we would each begin a new chapter on our own. It was a very beautiful, very emotional, and at the same time very sad moment, because we understood that the game was over, that what we had done for six years, all those games and that fun, ended there.

I think that's a moment from my time at school that I will never forget.

2 - Describe how you felt as a student (your fears, excitement, struggles or happiness within the walls of the school).

The truth is, like everything in life, I went through a lot. It was six long years, and obviously, it wasn't all happiness.

I was very introverted, and other kids often bullied me, especially during the first two years of elementary school. During those two years, there were always times when I was afraid and tried to avoid those kids. Thank God my cousin was in the same class and always defended me back then. Since he was brave and strong, the other kids soon stopped bothering me, and I no longer had to be so cautious or afraid.

As for academics, I was always one of the best students, recognized by the school with a medal upon graduation. I always got very good grades; however, my group of friends struggled to get good grades. I always helped them with their homework and explained things they didn't understand. In the end, we all graduated, and that was great for everyone.

Despite the sad, fearful, and stressful moments during those long years; Happiness and joy were the predominant emotions.

3 - A friend or teacher who was important to you (someone who inspired you, supported you, or disciplined you in a way that helped shape your character).

As you know, I had four good friends (including my cousin); they were all very important to me, and school was great and unforgettable thanks to them. However, I'd like to mention one teacher: Miriam, my fifth-grade teacher.

Miriam was the best teacher I've ever had. She was an upright, fair, and responsible woman, as well as very respectful. She had a tremendous love and affection for stray animals. There was even a stray dog that always hung around the school looking for her because she always fed him. Eventually, that dog came into the school and even into our classroom. The teacher introduced him to us, and we all grew fond of him. The dog stayed with us all year. She taught us that we should respect, help, and love these animals that don't have homes; that had a huge impact on me. She was the one who instilled in me a love for vulnerable animals. I am very grateful to her. I honestly don't know if she's still alive or if she's passed away; it's been almost 30 years since I've heard anything about her. However, what I do know is that I am very grateful to her, and it was a great privilege to have her as a teacher.

4 - A mistake or a life lesson from school (an experience that taught you honesty, responsibility, trust, patience or an important life value).

As I've already mentioned, I was a very introverted child in school. However, little by little, I gained confidence and integrated into the group. Once, in third grade, a girl wet herself because she had an upset stomach. Almost all of her classmates made fun of her. I didn't laugh because I already knew what it was like to feel fear and shame. I wanted her classmates to stop laughing at her, but I didn't dare ask them to be quiet. The good thing about it all was that the girl was brave; she stood tall with her head held high, and above all, she didn't cry.

Some time later, something similar happened. In fifth grade, another girl went through the same thing, although this one did cry and wasn't as strong mentally. The good thing about it all is that this time I did have the courage to confront my classmates and ask them to be quiet and respect her. That made me feel very good. Although I didn't have the courage to speak up to defend the first girl, I did for the second. Many children remained silent, and some joined me, and we helped the girl and the teacher.

This lesson taught me about respecting others and the value of speaking up when necessary. Many of my classmates also learned the lesson and have been more respectful ever since.

5 - Reflect on how those school days shaped who you are now (how your school days influenced your dreams, personality, or the values you still carry with you in life).

School was fabulous for me, with its ups and downs, but fabulous nonetheless. I really miss those days; they were so much fun and enjoyable.

From elementary school, I learned the value of friendship and respect, as well as respect and love for homeless, vulnerable, and vulnerable animals. I think I learned all of that at school, and I still carry it with me.

It's true that I no longer talk to my elementary school friends, I don't even know where they are, nor do I know the teachers. However, the friendship we shared, the laughter, the values we learned, and all the moments we lived together are always with me. Elementary school was a beautiful stage of my life.

I invite my friends @fjjrg, @lirvic, and @crismenia to join the challenge.

With nothing more to add, greetings to all.

Blessings.
