SC-S29/W2- Nostalgia Of The Liitle Me : My School Days
Hello everyone, I am very happy to join this contest because it brings back many beautiful memories of my school life. One of the happiest chapters of my life was when I studied at SMP Negeri 1 Baktiya. From the very beginning, this school gave me unforgettable experiences.
On my first day, I registered by myself without my parents’ assistance. I went there with my friends, and we were warmly welcomed. That moment taught me independence and confidence at a young age.
One moment that truly defined my school life was when I became the head of the student council (OSIS). It was a big responsibility, but I enjoyed every part of it. During my time at this school, I also joined many competitions. I participated in an English storytelling competition and proudly brought home a trophy.
I also joined an Indonesian debate competition and won another trophy. I felt truly appreciated, whether because of my achievements or my attitude. My junior high school years were the happiest time of my life.
I was actively involved in many extracurricular activities such as scouting, PMR, religious community programs, and drum band. One of the most unforgettable moments was when I became a majorette during the Indonesian Independence Day celebration on August 17th. Marching proudly in front of many people with my friends was an incredible experience that filled me with joy and confidence. Today, my younger sibling is following in my footsteps, and seeing that makes me feel very proud and grateful.
I was also committed to my religious duties, and I truly believe that when we obey Allah, He takes care of both our worldly life and the hereafter. Those days filled my heart with peace and happiness. I had two close friends, and the three of us were always together. We supported each other wholeheartedly.
Even though we were all smart, we never competed in a negative way. We accepted every result sincerely and studied diligently together. I was also blessed with a very special teacher, Bu Lisa, my English teacher. She always encouraged me and believed in my abilities. When we parted, she gave me a pink Qur’an as a gift, which I will always treasure.
Of course, I also made mistakes. One day, I left the classroom during lesson time with the excuse of looking for a teacher, but in reality, I wanted to buy snacks. Unfortunately, the principal entered the classroom, and I was punished. That experience taught me the importance of honesty and responsibility. I realized that good intentions must be matched with good actions, and every choice has consequences.
My school shaped me into the person I am today. It taught me responsibility, confidence, discipline, and honesty. I learned to speak in front of many people, to express my thoughts, and to stay focused on positive goals without getting involved in teenage romance.
Most importantly, my school years strengthened my relationship with Allah, increased my memorization of the Qur’an, and allowed me to meet many kind-hearted people. These lessons and memories continue to guide me in my life today.

Greetings,
Thank you so much for participating in the contest.
Discipline, responsibility and confidence are the keys to success in school life. The author has highlighted these issues brilliantly. The experience of registering alone on the first day at school is truly admirable, it is an incident of gaining independence and confidence at a young age.
The stories of serving as the head of the Student Council (OSIS), participating in various competitions and winning trophies are truly remarkable. In my opinion, these are not just stories of achievement, but also a reflection of leadership, hard work and dedication. Especially the parts of English storytelling and debate competition are inspiring to me.
Active participation in extracurricular activities Scouting, PMR, drum band and various experiences of participating as a majorette on Independence Day give you the opportunity to learn about different things. The fact that the younger sister is walking the same path was emotional.
The mentality of friendship, mutual cooperation and healthy competition are truly admirable. Besides, the words of my beloved teacher Bu Lisa and the memory of receiving the Quran as a gift are unforgettable.
It is our responsibility to admit our mistakes and learn from them, which you have done beautifully. We should also follow how your school life has played a role in shaping your religious values, character and life goals.
