When you visit Parbatipur, one of the hotel names you will hear most often from local people is Shah Hotel. I did not want to rely only on others’ opinions, so I am sharing my own real experience and thoughts about this place.

I learned that this hotel has been trusted by the local community for a long time because of its traditional food taste, affordable prices, and friendly service. The environment is not luxurious, but I really liked the cleanliness and the organized atmosphere.

The seating arrangement is simple yet comfortable, so you can sit and enjoy food peacefully with family or friends. The staff behavior is polite and welcoming, which makes the overall experience more pleasant.

Famous Milk Tea

The most talked-about item of Shah Hotel is its milk tea. It is well known for its thick milk, properly boiled tea, and balanced sweetness, which create a unique taste. Many people even come from far away just to drink this milk tea.

Although I did not try the milk tea, I had their red tea, and it was very good. The red tea includes ginger pieces, mint leaves, and other spices, making it both refreshing and flavorful.

Special Sweet Section

Another attractive feature of this hotel is the separate section for sweets. Fresh and tasty varieties of sweets are available here, and the flavor feels very homely. Having sweets with tea makes the whole experience more satisfying.

You can find quality desserts like yogurt, sandesh, and patisapta, and their taste and quality are quite good.

My Experience & Recommendation

Overall, Shah Hotel is a familiar and reliable restaurant in Parbatipur. Near the railway station, it is rare to find a restaurent that offers this level of quality food at an affordable price. Even without luxury, the taste, hospitality, famous milk tea, and delicious sweets give this place a special value. If you ever visit Parbatipur and want a satisfying meal within budget, you should definitely try Shah Hotel at least once. I recommend you to visit the restaurant.
