Fairs are my favorite place. I really enjoy visiting the Dinajpur Industrial and Trade Fair. Today I will share with you my experience of visiting this trade fair.

Main Gate and Ticket counter

There is a system of buying tickets to enter the fair. Tickets are mandatory for all children above 4 years of age. The ticket price per person is 20 BDT or about 3 steem. I also bought a ticket and entered the fair. My nephew was with me.

Sunflower

The first thing that caught my attention after entering here was its plastic flower zone. Here, flowers of different colors and prices were available, which you would not think were plastic flowers. These flower shops are located near the main gate. First, I found several small flower tubs to put on the table, which were priced at 350 BDT per piece. Since it was a one-price shop, there was no hassle of haggling, which I liked a lot. However, I liked the orchid plastic flowers more because they are my favorite flower. The orchids of different colors were dazzling. There were also sunflower flower sticks here, which were quite expensive. It was forbidden to touch them with your hands and all the flowers displayed outside were wrapped in plastic. This way, the flowers would not be spoiled by the dust outside.

Steel and Plastic untensils

The most popular shops at the fair were those selling steel and plastic utensils. I liked the steel items the most. The various steel items available here include plates, bowls, spoons, mugs, jugs and various serving utensils that will definitely catch your attention. I bought a steel plate from here which cost 130 BDT. The quality of these items was quite good. Then I went to the plastic items section where several new service creations were available which I had not seen before. I liked the fish-shaped service plate quite a bit and the price was relatively low which was 130 BDT. Also, the plastic trays were quite sturdy which was quite good quality compared to the price.

Toy collection for kids

We all know that children's items are more available at the fair than adults. There were various types of dolls for children here that you would want to buy. The different types of dolls were very soft. These dolls were kept together in baskets and the customer could select and buy according to their preference. There were various types of soft toys here including Barbie dolls, elephants, crocodiles, turtles, snakes. Although I did not buy anything from this section, I found the dolls very nice. The children in my house do not want to play with these dolls, so I did not buy them for them. But it goes without saying that you will be impressed by seeing them.

Swing Collection

The novelty of this fair was some swings made of Macron yarn, which were available at prices starting from 5000 BDT. I liked these colorful swings quite a bit and there is a system where you can sit and check their comfort level. Although I liked one quite a bit, I could not buy it because it was not budget-friendly or not within my budget. I am getting a visiting card from the owner of this shop, but if I want, I can order it online from them and get it delivered to my home. They can also customize any design and color, which I think is very convenient for the buyers. You can understand by looking at it that it will be a very comfortable swing and the shopkeepers said that it can take up to 200 kg of weight.

Ceramic Collection

Another attraction of this fair was the ceramic plates, bowls, especially cups and mugs. The prices of these were also quite affordable, but I found the different colored plates of the ceramic mugs more attractive and I wanted to buy a plate but at the last minute I didn't buy it because these plates are very heavy. It would have been great if they were a little more lightweight.

Foods

Another major attraction of the fair is its food. After entering the fair, I ate one of my favorite foods, which I eat only during the fair because this ice cream cone is not available in my city. The price of the ice cream cone was 50 BDT. The ice cream cone is prepared by layering it with different types of syrups. Basically, it is made by crushing ice cream and adding sweet syrup and salt to it, which is very delicious. There are also some other food stalls.

Another feature of the fair is that electrical goods are available at low prices. There is always an offer on electronic goods, buy one, get three free. They give two types of file pans free with an electronic stove. Televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines are also available. Although I am not in favor of buying such products because they are quite old models, they sell them on offers. Many people buy such products, but many types of buyers do not buy such products.

Hand printed Wallmate

There were some great hand-painted wallmats available here which I found very vibrant. I have taken photographs of them and you can see that they are very carefully made by hand. I liked them very much, although I could not buy them, but I will try to buy such products when I go here next time. These wallmats depict rural scenes, lost traditions or urban life in a wonderful way. I do not know the price range of these, but everything is available at this fair at affordable prices, so its price will also be affordable.

Baby Train

Various rides were set up to entertain children at the fair. Children can take such rides by purchasing tickets. It is a tradition of any fair in Bangladesh and children enjoy them very happily. The various rides included fairy wheels, boat rides, mobile boats, mini trains, and 3D movie viewing.
