SLC-S32/W6 | Frames of My World : A Frame With a Story
Assalamu Alaikum everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well. I am also well by the grace of Allah.
I am participating in this contest, SLC-S32/W6 | Frames of My World : A Frame With a Story. Thanks to @sohanurrahman for organizing such a wonderful contest. I am very happy and excited to participate in this contest. My topic "A location that brings back emotional memories".
The place I will post about today is located in Rangpur division. This place is called Payra Chattar. I went to Rangpur a few days ago. I visited this place then. I went there in the morning. This place is located in the heart of Rangpur city. It costs 20 taka to get here from Rangpur Railway Station. This place is located three to four kilometers away from Rangpur Railway Station.
Located in the heart of Rangpur, Payra Chattar is originally known as the 'Old Press Club Corner'. It is a symbol of the history and politics of Rangpur city. The 'Payra' sculpture built in memory of the martyrs of the Great Liberation War and the social and political movements around it make it particularly meaningful. The reasons why Payra Chattar is meaningful are the spirit of the Liberation War. This square was built to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs in the Great Liberation War. It is a place of deep respect for the people of North Bengal. Being the center of Rangpur city, people from different walks of life meet here every day.

Located in the heart of Rangpur city, Payra Chattar is not primarily for its beauty. It is a place of special emotion and memory for the people of Rangpur as the center of various social, cultural and political movements. Starting from the anti-dictatorship movement of the 90s to the movement for various national and local rights, this square was a place of major protest for the people of Rangpur. After the great liberation war of 1971 and every year on the eve of Victory Day, gathering at this square and paying tribute to the martyrs is one of the biggest emotions of the people of Rangpur.

The photographs of Rangpur Payra Chattar play a very effective role in portraying the story of the rich heritage, development and lives of the common people of this region. The photographs of the main architecture of Payra Chattar convey the message of peace and harmony. The images of pedestrians and vehicles centered around the square provide a realistic picture of the dynamics and daily hustle and bustle of this rapidly changing city. Payra Chattar remains a silent witness to various political and social movements in Rangpur. The images powerfully attest to the historical significance of this place and the story of social change.

Pigeon Sculpture in the Square
The historic Payra Chattar is located in the heart of Rangpur city. It is an important center. Pigeons have always been a symbol of peace. The sculpture in the square conveys a message of mutual friendship and harmony to the visitors, forgetting religious and political differences. This square is one of the historical places in the city. It is natural for visitors to have deep respect for the martyrs of the independence struggle of Bangladesh while visiting Payra Chattar. Payra Chattar is one of the witnesses of the modernization of Rangpur. It creates a positive feeling in the minds of visitors about the progress of the city and moving towards the future.
