SLC31-W4: Shop & Share Challenge - Restaurant or Food Vendor
Assalamu Alaikum everyone. I hope you are all doing well. Today I am going to share my experience of visiting a small but very popular roadside food vendor in my area. In our busy daily lives, roadside food stalls have become a part of our culture and lifestyle. A few days ago, while walking through Munsibari Goli in Badda at night, I noticed a mobile food van selling different types of fried snacks and sweet items. From there, I tried a traditional sweet snack called “Khaja.” After a long time, eating such a delicious khaja really made me happy.
What is the name and location of the restaurant, food vendor, or local eateries?
The place I visited was basically a local mobile food van. The vendor had set up the stall beside the road in Munsibari Goli, Badda. There was a good crowd around the shop, and I noticed many local people regularly buying snacks from there. Even though the setup was simple, the food display looked quite attractive.

What food did you buy from the place? Let's know the price.
I bought “Khaja” from the stall. The khajas were arranged beautifully in a large steel container. They looked crispy and lightly coated with sugar. I bought one piece of khaja.
Price: 10 BDT
Nowadays, getting such a tasty snack for only 10 taka feels really satisfying.
How did the food taste and look like? Can you recommend the food to others?
The taste of the khaja was really enjoyable for me. The outside was crispy while the inside was slightly soft. Its light sweetness made it pleasant to eat without feeling too heavy. This type of snack tastes especially good with a cup of hot tea.
The food also looked very appealing. The vendor arranged everything neatly and carefully. I would definitely recommend others to try this snack because it is difficult to find such tasty traditional snacks at such a low price nowadays. People who enjoy local roadside foods will surely like it.
How was the customer service and environment of the place?
Since the stall was beside the road, the environment was not perfectly clean. However, the behavior of the vendor was very friendly and polite. He served the food quickly and talked with customers in a respectful manner. Even in the busy roadside environment, there were many customers at the stall. The crowd clearly showed the popularity of the food.
Do you think the food is worth the price? Why?
Yes, I definitely think the food was worth the price. Getting such a crispy and tasty khaja for only 10 taka was really satisfying. Considering the taste, freshness, and quantity, I felt fully satisfied with the price.
Recommend tips for the restaurant, food vendor, or local eatery to improve.
In my opinion, the shop would become even better if the surrounding area were kept cleaner. Improving the food covering system would also make the stall more hygienic. In addition, placing a small price list in front of the stall would be helpful for customers.
Overall, my experience was really good. These small roadside food vendors are still keeping the traditional taste of our local foods alive. I would love to visit the place again in the future and try some other snacks.
Thank you everyone for reading my post.

Review:
You have visited a "local mobile food van", and I am sure you enjoyed the Khaja you bought. Having such a local mobile food that serves nice Khaja is good. Such businesses are usually sold during morning and evening hours, and they are often one-man operations.
