Childhood memories are always vivid. We grow up, we get busy with jobs, business etc. due to the needs of life. But the days we left behind when we were young are always vivid in us. We want to win back those days. Those days were a life free from obstacles and worries.

Name(s) of childhood games

We played many types of games when we were young. Danguli, marbles, tossing, kicking, football in the mud, playing tossing in the pond, making a banana raft and floating on the water. Every game is a childhood adventure. We used to play this game often in our childhood. But I liked making a banana raft and floating it in the pond the most. Apart from that, playing tossing in the pond. I used to play football in the mud and jump into the pond. Then I used to make a banana raft and play in the pond. When one person got on the raft, another would push him off and the other would try to get on. The banana tree was very slippery, so it was kind of challenging to climb on it.

Where do you play and with whom?

This game must be played in the water. That's why we enjoyed this game more in the pond or river. But we played it the most in the pond.

Our friends used to participate in this game with us. We all used to cut banana trees together and make a raft. Then we would drag it and lower it into the pond. When I went to bathe in the pond, I saw some small boys playing with a banana tree and making a raft. Seeing that, I remembered the memories of my childhood. I also joined them in that game.

Why was this game special to you?

Yes, I enjoyed playing the game of making banana trees a lot. In those days of childhood, we did not have any modern toys. But there was no shortage of ways to have fun. We used to cut banana trees ourselves and make them. There was a different kind of joy in making them ourselves. Then all my friends would drag it together and throw it into the pond. Then we would float in the pond with the raft. This game was not just a game for us, it was a special moment spent with each other as a group. The moment when all the thoughts of the world would not come to our minds. We would spend a lot of time together with pure laughter and joy. This game would make the childhood moments more colorful. Even if there was a disagreement with someone, when we enjoyed this game together, that disagreement would disappear due to the teamwork.

Any funny, emotional, or memorable incident related to the game

There are many funny incidents related to this game. We used to play this game more during most of the school holidays because then everyone would be together. We would all wait for the day when the school would close so that we would go down to the pond together and make raft. So we would find out in advance which banana trees could be cut. Again, if there was someone who had cut down the banana trees, we would find them. Every moment of finding banana trees together, then cutting and making raft was very emotional. I remember one special day very much. One day I was playing with a raft in the pond for about an hour. My eyes were red. My mother was chasing me with a stick. I swam to the other side of the pond and escaped. But even after running away, my mother caught me and beat me very badly that day. She held me by the ears and made me stand in the courtyard of the house. I was very ashamed because my friends were laughing at me from a distance.

Learning life lessons or values ​​by playing these games.

Playing with banana tree or these childhood games were not only a source of joy for us, but we also learned many life lessons and values ​​from them.

• Through making toys from banana trees, we learned how to make something new with few things.

• Through making raft and playing in a group, we learned the joy and strength of working together.

• Banana tree is very soft so it has to be made with care and patience so through this we have learned how to be patient and careful to do any work.

• You don't need very expensive things to find simple happiness. You can make yourself happy with a little bit. Through this we have learned that you don't need money to be happy.

• Banana tree is very slippery and climbing it is a kind of challenging. Through this we create a mentality of not giving up.

• You get the most pleasure from playing this game in a group. Through this we can learn that there is no joy in being alone. Life is beautiful only when you are organized.
