Name of the childhood game(s)
The lost smile of childhood:Kanamachi game
Childhood is all about pure joy, and a big part of that joy consisted of various kinds of native games. Be it the village yard or the empty field in the city - team sports with friends were an integral part of our daily life. One such popular and memorable game was Kanamachi game. The Kanamachi game started with very simple rules. One was chosen as 'Kanamachi'. His eyes were tied with cloth or handkerchief, so that he could not see anything. Then the rest would go around trying to distract him.
Some would touch hands and run away, some would laugh and turn their gaze to the other side. Kanamachi's job was to capture someone based only on words, feelings and guesswork. whom he could catch,He had to be the next Kanamachi.
Where and with whom you used to play
The memory of playing Kanamachi in childhood means that some familiar places and favorite faces float before the eyes. In the soft light of the afternoon, after finishing our studies, we used to rush to the open courtyard of the village or the empty space in front of the house. Somewhere under the shade of a big mango tree, somewhere in the mud yard these places were our play world. If you were in the city, the corner of the street, the school ground or the empty plot next to it would be the place of happiness.
The playing partner was a group of friends of the same age from the neighborhood. Some are schoolmates, some are older brothers or younger sisters next door. Even if there was a difference in age, it would not be a hindrance in the game. We all used to laugh and shout, run and jump and try to outwit each other. Sometimes someone wanted to get too close to the fish and ran away. And everyone laughed together.
Why this game was special to you
Playing Kanamachi was special to me because the most pure feelings of childhood are associated with this game. There were no complicated rules, no greed for rewards just the joy of laughing together. Those moments of finding everyone around me while blindfolded gave me a strange thrill, where fear and joy merged into one.Participating in this game, I learned to feel differently. I used to try to recognize people from these small cues, such as voice, breath, foot movement, without looking at the eyes.
It increased my concentration, developed patience, and created a kind of self-confidence. The joy when I could catch someone,It is difficult to express in words.
Any funny, emotional, or memorable incident related to the game
There have been many incidents while playing Kanamachi, which even today brings a smile to my face. Once in the afternoon some of us were playing together in the yard of the neighborhood. That day I was blindfolded. Everyone was turning around and trying to distract me some running from behind touching hands, some deliberately getting too close and gasping for breath. Suddenly I felt someone standing right in front of me. Dare to jump, but caught a pole! Everyone laughed so hard that I forgot my anger and laughed.
Another event is a bit emotional. A little friend suddenly fell down while playing and started crying. Then the game stopped, everyone ran to him. Someone brought him water, someone took him in his arms and comforted him. After a while he started laughing again,And we all started playing again. That moment made me realize - our care and bond for each other was bigger than the game.
Life lessons or values learned from playing those games
Kanamachi game was not only a pastime but also an easy way to teach many invisible lessons of life. The first thing I learned while playing blindfolded was trust. Had to rely on friends without looking around. Courage and mental strength were born from this belief. This game taught me the importance of patience and focus. Rushing to catch someone would do nothing; Rather quiet than sound,Movement and presence cues had to be understood. The lesson that in many areas of life it is necessary to make slow decisions - this lesson was unconsciously ingrained at that time.

Greetings,
Thank you so much for participating in the contest.
One of the biggest lessons from our childhood games was that our care and bond for each other were greater than the game itself. Kanamachi is absolutely a fun game to play. This is a nice entry for the contest.
