A True Story of a Girl's Life

in #story6 days ago

On December 31, 2020, a girl got married. After the wedding, she happily went to her husband's home. Her parents were also very happy that their daughter was starting a new chapter of her life.

Everything was going well after the marriage. Her in-laws treated her well, and the home environment was good. However, about seven days after the wedding, she developed a fever. She went to a doctor and got medicine. She took the medicine for a few days, but her condition did not improve much.

A few days later, she started having a severe cough. She felt suffocated and had difficulty breathing. She asked her husband to take her to a doctor or bring her some medicine because she was feeling very sick. But her husband said that it was already 12 at night and they could not go anywhere. He also said that she was getting sick every day.

The girl was suffering in pain, but nobody listened to her. Then her husband told her to drink alcohol instead of taking medicine and said that she would get better. She had no other option. She was seriously ill and helpless, so she agreed.

After drinking the alcohol, she remained unconscious throughout the night. The next day, her fever became worse. Her husband had already told her that if she had a fever, she should take a Panadol tablet. She did the same, but her condition did not improve. She spent the whole day suffering from coughing and pain.

At Maghrib time, she called her mother and told her about her condition. Her mother came immediately and suggested taking her to the hospital. Her husband then took her to the hospital, where she was admitted.

Her condition became even worse in the hospital. After being given a tablet, she lost consciousness and did not wake up for three days. Her mother was worried, and the family kept praying for her, but her husband's careless behavior continued.

After three days, when she regained consciousness, she was shifted to another hospital. The doctors told her that both of her kidneys had been severely damaged. From that moment, her life turned into a very difficult test.

She remained on dialysis for four months. She went through physical and emotional pain, but she did not lose hope. Then one day, the doctors gave her good news that she would no longer need dialysis. It was a very happy moment for her and her family.

After her health improved a little, she went to meet her husband, but he kept avoiding her. She tried many times to contact him, called him, and tried to save the relationship, but instead of supporting her, he started talking about divorce.

Different excuses were made regarding the divorce. Sometimes the issue of Haq Mehr was raised, and sometimes other matters. The girl's mother said only one thing: they wanted their daughter's happiness and freedom, and the rest could be kept by them.

After many months of emotional pain and difficulties, the divorce was finally completed. It felt as if a huge burden had been lifted from her heart. Slowly, her life started getting better.

Today, Alhamdulillah, she is standing on her own feet. Her kidneys are working well, and she is earning through her own hard work. She has become much stronger than before.

This story teaches us that no matter how difficult life becomes, if a person has patience, courage, and trust in Allah, difficult times eventually pass. Today, that girl is happy, healthy, and living her life on her own terms.

Alhamdulillah.
